Questions about Blueprint.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the tool in plain words, or paste a reference image. Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, writes the code, and you only ever see the controls: sliders, colors, presets and a Variation button.
How is it different from asking Claude or ChatGPT?
Blueprint runs on Claude too, but it does one job: design tools. You get a clean, working tool on the first try, with the same kind of controls every time (sliders, colors, presets, a Variation button), and they stay consistent as you ask for changes. Each tool is saved with its versions and is online right away, ready to publish, embed or share with a client, instead of a file you have to host yourself.
What kinds of tools can it make?
Halftone generators and dither tools that work on your own pictures or on noise, riso and print effects, patterns and tilings, op art, textures, gradients, posters, ASCII art and more. Tools can be still or animated, and you can copy or download PNG and SVG in one click, or ask for a bigger PNG (2× or 4×).
Can I use my own images, fonts and sounds?
Yes. Drop your own pictures into a tool, import your own fonts (TTF, OTF, WOFF) or pick any Google Font, and add an audio track (MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC or OGG) to tools that react to sound. Your files stay in your account.
What can I export?
PNG and SVG, copied or downloaded in one click, and MP4 or WebM video for animated tools, with sound when the tool has an audio track. Need print sizes? Ask for a 2× or 4× PNG and the export menu adds it.
Can I change a tool after it’s made?
Yes, as often as you like. Ask for changes in the chat, in plain words, and every change is saved as a new version, so you can go back to an earlier one at any time. Fixing an error the tool hit is automatic and free.
What is a credit?
Each message costs 3 credits, or 10 in Best for the most demanding designs, whether it creates a tool or changes one. Automatic fixes are free, and using a tool you already have costs nothing. Your plan’s credits reset to the full amount every month (yearly plans too): unused plan credits don’t carry over, credit packs do. The Free plan includes 20 credits during the launch and one tool.
Which AI model does Blueprint use?
Claude, by Anthropic. Standard messages use Claude Sonnet (3 credits); Best uses Claude Opus (10 credits), for the most demanding designs. You pick the level for each message.
Can I build tools with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor?
Yes, on Solo, Studio and Agency. In the Claude app, add a custom connector with https://blueprint.page/api/mcp and click Connect. For Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, create a token in Settings › Connect your agent and paste the line shown there. Your agent writes the tool on your own subscription; Blueprint checks it with the same rules as the Studio, saves each version and runs it in your Studio, where you tune, export, publish and share it. It uses no credits. Solo includes 1 connection, Studio 3 and Agency 10.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes. Subscribers can add credit packs at any time, from 50 credits for $7 (€7) up to 5,000 credits. Pack credits don’t expire while you’re subscribed.
Can my clients use the tools I make?
Yes, on any paid plan. Publish a tool on its own page, embed it on a website, serve it on a custom domain (Studio and Agency), or invite a client by email to view it, edit its settings or remix it with AI.
Is there a launch offer?
Yes, while it lasts: 30% off your first month on any monthly plan, applied automatically at checkout if you’ve never subscribed before. It doesn’t apply to yearly plans or credit packs.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. After that, your published tools, embeds and client shares are paused (visitors see a short “This tool is paused” page), and your remaining pack credits are frozen, not deleted. Resubscribe within 90 days and everything comes back as it was, with a fresh month of plan credits. Your tools and their versions stay in your account either way.
Who owns what I make?
You do. Your prompts, your images, the tools generated for you and everything you export with them belong to you. Tools stay private until you publish or share them.
Is it safe to run AI-written code?
Every tool runs in an isolated sandbox, on a separate origin, with no access to your account, your files or the rest of the app.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Blueprint and every tool you make run in the browser. Your tools, their versions and your files are saved in your account.
